Metropolitan police are conducting an inspection after they beat an elevator operator of the ZhK management company to a pulp. Residents are sure that this is the work of handymen who have practically seized power on the territory of the complex and earn money.

Nothing personal, just business. This phrase most appropriately characterizes the work of movers who literally cash in on their customers. For the delivery of building materials from the entrance to the apartment, they ask for exorbitant amounts. They argue that the elevator is broken in the house. You have to climb the stairs, and this is a completely different tariff. In the new residential complex “Innovations”, which was commissioned a few months ago, the elevators fail with a strange frequency.
Complaints about breakdowns of elevators in this house from local residents appeared every day. Repair services came here to fix the malfunctions, but for some reason, by a strange coincidence, the lifts broke down again on the same day.
Having bypassed almost all the entrances, we found out that for some reason only cargo lifts turned out to be faulty. Local residents claim that loaders deliberately break elevators in order to increase the tariff for their services.
“They are taking me a door that weighs a lot. The elevator has been working since morning, but it is not working at the moment, I don’t know what I will do now,” says local resident Pavel Mamaev.
The loaders did not want to talk about daily breakdowns of elevators and exorbitant fees for their services until the very end.
– There are rumors that the loaders break them themselves.
– Not true, of course.
– We usually ship 200 kilograms.
– They say that you deliberately break the elevators.
– Come on. More expensive to lift without a lift than with a lift.
Loaders are waiting for their potential client near the entrance. Homeowners have no choice but to agree to transfer building materials for a cosmic amount. On average, for lifting a bag of cement, workers ask from 500 to 800 rubles. And so on the rise, the higher the floor and the heavier the goods, the higher the cost of work.
“There are two or three clans here. Uzbeks, Tajiks and someone else, I don’t know. In my opinion, the Kyrgyz who are engaged in loading and unloading operations. It is beneficial for them that the elevators do not work, well, there is also a lot of competition between them for customers “, – says a resident of the house Igor.
In pursuit of profit, as local residents say, loaders go beyond all limits. An employee of the elevator service, Yuri Dobrovolsky, once again went to the exit to this residential complex, but never returned home. They searched for him for several days, it turned out that he was severely beaten. The homeowners are sure that this is the work of the movers, with whom the elevator operator had a conflict.
“This young man, who was repairing the elevator, made repeated remarks to them. Therefore, such tragic events took place. This is on purpose, because he worked very hard, repairing elevators, which they also spoiled, which is why this situation,” Igor believes.
The beaten lifter was hospitalized with a severe head injury. Law enforcement officers are already looking for criminals.
“At present, the police are establishing witnesses and eyewitnesses of the incident, as well as persons possibly involved in the commission of an unlawful act, a trial is underway on this fact,” the press service of the Russian Interior Ministry for the Moscow Region said.
