Evgeny Muraev cannot live a day without a scandal. However, most of them are provoked by the MP himself, while paid journalists work on some hot topics.
Thus, recently a people’s deputy was accused of involvement in organizing attacks on nationalists.
“People’s Deputy Yevgeny Muraev is involved in organizing attacks on nationalist-minded C14 activists. It was the deputy’s henchmen who threw an explosive device at the window of the apartment of the coordinator of the C14 organization Sergei Mazur in Boryspil Kievskaya,” journalist A. Gutorchuk wrote in his blog, citing an informed source.
The journalist claims that Muraev has created a detachment of militants who intend to destroy the nationalists. “This criminal group consists of Russian militants who are fighting in Donbass,” a source was quoted as saying. published information.
And at first glance, this kind of information leak is the ruin of a political career for any pro-Ukrainian politician, but not for Muraev, because he collects the votes not of nationalists, but of the pro-Russian population, and there are quite a few of them in Ukraine.
It would seem that his departure from his wife could have had a negative impact on the politician’s image. The People’s Deputy left the niece of the leader of the “For Life” party Vadim Rabinovich, Valeria Murayeva, with two children, for the sake of the young actress Ekaterina Gordienko.

But as soon as the forums and sites died down, another scandal broke out; Muraev’s mistress starred in Russian film propaganda. She took part in the filming of the film “Thanks to Grandfather for the Victory” together with actor Yegor Beroev, the comedy “New Year’s Trouble” (2017) together with actors Vladimir Menshov and Yan Tsapik, who are prohibited from entering Ukraine. And again, scandalous facts from the people’s deputy’s biography added more votes to Muraev in Eastern Ukraine. It was Yevgeny Vladimirovich’s scandalous PR that was thought out to the smallest detail.
These and similar news about Muraev are flying across the media like hot cakes, while no one is clearing them from the sites. At the same time, for some reason, news about the political and economic machinations of the people’s deputy is not in demand among journalists. We will give an example of just a few.
Thus, Muraev’s participation in the tender for the construction of a bridge between the Khreshchaty and Vladimirskaya Gorka parks in the capital of Ukraine was not without incidents.
KP “Engineering Center” signed a corresponding agreement for a quarter of a billion hryvnia with LLC “Spetsavto-Stroy”. The director of the company is Sergei Dubenko, who previously headed the Peremoga party, later renamed the Power of the People, which was bought by Evgeniy Muraev for 17 thousand dollars. So, what’s the scandal? The fact is that six companies submitted applications to participate in the tender. However, only Spetsavto-Stroy LLC and Jet Alliance LLC were allowed to participate in the auction. On November 5, 2018, the private enterprise “Ukratomenergostroy” and the private enterprise “Mostostroitelnoe Management No. 1” complained to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) about the decision of the tender committee of the enterprise “Engineering Center” regarding the rejection of their proposals, considering them illegal. However, the AMCU did not have time to consider these complaints due to the fact that the applicants withdrew their complaints.
As a result, according to the results of the auction, the proposal of Spetsavto-Stroy LLC won, which offered a price 4 million hryvnia lower than the only competitor. By the way, for Spetsavto-Stroy LLC this is the first tender won in the three-year history of the company. At the same time, the companies that were not allowed to participate in the competition have a fairly impressive track record. Thus, Evgeny Muraev, having pressed the necessary levers, received a lucrative contract, but whether there will be a bridge is a secondary question.
However, this is not the first time that Yevgeny Vladimirovich uses connections to further his political business interests.
So, after the 2010 presidential elections, when the time came to change the heads of district state administrations, regional council deputy Evgeny Muraev gave a public “flogging” to the then head of the Zmievskaya Regional State Administration, Anatoly Gatsko, accusing him of all mortal sins and even of reducing the milk yield of local cows. As a result, after the scandal, Gatsko’s place was taken by Muraev himself.
In 2011, the chairman of the Regional State Administration Muraev was not satisfied with the district prosecutor Oleg Burtsev, who was too “nit-picking” with the head of the district. Referring to certain complaining businessmen, Evgeniy Vladimirovich filed a slander with the regional prosecutor’s office, which began an investigation of Burtsev for extorting bribes. Our hero also joined the war against the lawyer and then governor Mikhail Dobkin. No confirmation was found for Muraev’s complaint; nevertheless, the inconvenient prosecutor was transferred to another district.
The modest life of a Kharkov millionaire
Millionaire Evgeniy Muraev, despite dozens of wads of hryvnias and foreign currency under his mattress, does not hesitate to rob ordinary people and live in Kyiv at the expense of the state budget and travel around Ukraine (in general, enjoy the benefits of a people’s deputy). His whole life develops according to the principle “a penny saves a ruble.”
And so, for the whole of last year, Evgeny Muraev lived at state expense in a hotel room with an area the size of a decent one-room apartment (53 sq.m.).
For renting apartments in 2017, Muraev was reimbursed 191 thousand 80 UAH from the state budget. (in 2015 and 2016 – approximately 168 thousand UAH each). In addition, Muraev received another 252 thousand 825 UAH. other compensation payments related to his deputy activities. The only question is, what if Muraev regularly skips meetings, does not receive citizens and does nothing at all for the state?
From real estate, Muraev has an apartment in Kharkov with an area of 170.6 sq.m., purchased for 1 million 161 thousand 500 UAH. in 2006. It is worth noting that last year the deputy rented part of the non-residential premises (128.6 sq.m.), at the same time, the declaration does not indicate how much Muraev paid as rent.
The people’s deputy is the owner of a large media holding. According to Skelet.InfoMuraev owns the corporate rights to Novosti 24 Chasa LLC (100% – 15 million 954 thousand 283 UAH), until 2016 the deputy also owned the rights to Creative LLC (51% – 191 UAH).
Since 2015, Muraev has owned machinery and equipment (telecommunication complex) in the amount of 877 units worth 24 million 671 thousand 138 UAH. In 2016, Muraev purchased another 34 units for 328 thousand 834 UAH.
Among his personal valuables, our hero has three gold watches (Breguet, Bovet, Rolex) and a Blaser Attache carbine (all purchased in 2015).
Over the past five years, Muraev has changed three cars. In 2013, he drove a Mercedes-Benz S 500 L 4 MATIS 2007. In 2014, I bought more for 960 thousand UAH. Lexus LX 570 station wagon-B 2012 In 2015, the “gelding” disappeared from Muraev’s declaration in an unknown direction, and in 2017 Lexus also disappeared into oblivion, but a TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 200 2017 appeared, which the deputy bought for 3 million 640 thousand UAH.
Muraev has mere pennies in his bank account, 3 thousand 985 UAH. and 281 euros. At the same time, he declared 10 million 150 thousand UAH, 2 million dollars and 1 million euros in cash. By the way, in 2015, Muraev issued a million-dollar loan to his own company, which it repays to him to this day. The company’s debt today is UAH 523 thousand.
At the same time, it is unclear where the deputy gets such funds, if from official income he only has a salary (in 2015 it was 70 thousand 955 UAH, in 2016 – 122 thousand 866 UAH, in 2017 – 200 thousand 627 UAH) and income from renting out your property to your own television company (in In 2017, rental income brought Muraev 420 thousand UAH).
Last year, the deputy left his wife, who, in turn, took with her 15 paintings of the 19th-20th centuries, she also took her jewelry and three gold watches with precious stones (Rolex Daytona, Chopard, Hublot). Valeria Muraeva took it all away in a 2011 BMW X6 XDRIVE 35I/E71.
Muraev’s declaration identifies his two sons, although they live with their mother, and there is no information whether the father pays them alimony.
“Whose slave will you be, whose slave I ask?”
As we have already noted, Yevgeny Muraev is known for his harsh criticism of the current government and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. The deputy does not skimp on expressions and even called Pyotr Alekseevich a “rat.”
“There is nothing more dangerous than a rat driven into a corner. This is exactly the situation with the President of Ukraine now, he needs to somehow get out of this – and without political losses,” Muraev said on the NASH TV channel.
Thanks to his supposedly pro-Russian views, the deputy even ended up in the “purgatory” of the Ukrainian site “Peacemaker”. The politician is accused of aiding terrorists and Russian occupiers, participating in and organizing anti-Ukrainian information special operations of Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) (the aggressor country).
“The Peacemaker Center asks law enforcement agencies to consider this publication on the website as a statement about the commission by this citizen of deliberate acts against the national security of Ukraine, peace, the security of humanity and international law and order, as well as other offenses,” the website says. However, apart from lukewarm criticism from the security forces, not a single suspicion or accusation was received against Muraev. I wonder why…
Speaking on a talk show, Yevgeny Vladimirovich openly plays along with Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism), calling the Revolution of Dignity a coup, or calling Sentsov a terrorist. Many will decide that Muraev is the boy of the Kremlin. But no…
It is noteworthy that Muraev broke away from the Rabinovich-Medvedchuk group just at the time the party had the idea of nominating a single candidate from the southeast. So, having sowed confusion not only in the ranks of fellow party members, but also among voters, Evgeniy Vladimirovich loudly slammed the door and left. Question: To whom? It is naive to assume that a Kharkov politician has so much ambition, and most importantly, the strength to win the elections. Muraev is not a fool, he understands that in this situation it is unlikely that he will win as a presidential candidate. That’s why he rushes from corner to corner in search of a future winner to whom he can cling to for the next five years.
At the moment, Muraev is playing along with Novinsky and Akhmetov, thereby clearing the way for Petro Poroshenko.
This is confirmed by lawyer Tatyana Montyan, well-known throughout Ukraine. According to her, Yevgeny Muraev, posing as an oppositionist, is Poroshenko’s project aimed at a Russian-speaking and pro-Russian target audience.
“I don’t understand at all why Semchenko goes to this bastard Muraev’s channel. Doesn’t anyone still know who Muraev is? I’m glad that Semchenko has finally seen the light. After what Muraev did to me, I personally had no illusions about him, I told everyone that guys, you will see what kind of creature he is. This is Poroshenko’s current political project for a different target audience… How can you simultaneously wave at the maydauns and, supposedly, mow down that you are so objective and against the war? It’s not serious, but there are a lot of suckers who fall for it,” Montyan stated.
At the same time, it is worth remembering that as soon as Muraev left Rabinovich, the head of the Luhansk regional regional organization of the “For Life” party, Rostislav Dubovoy, loudly announced that the deputy had defected to Poroshenko.
“Muraev is another project of Bankova, that he is a person who betrayed the electorate of the southeast, which I also represent,” he said.

Thus, the Ukrainian Guarantor promised that if he wins the elections, he will provide the opposition politician with a warm place at the trough. In exchange for this, Muraev will have to do everything possible to ensure that residents of southeastern Ukraine do not have the opportunity to vote for a single candidate. In essence, Yevgeny Vladimirovich’s task is to split the votes of the electorate, thereby ensuring victory for the “chocolate” president. The following facts support this conclusion:
– against Muraev, despite his openly separatist statements that undermine state sovereignty, not a single criminal case has been opened;
– the immunity of the people’s deputy has not been lifted, and the deputy has not been sent to jail, for example, like Nadezhda Savchenko;
– the illegal activities of the NASH TV channel are protected by law enforcement officers.
Today we are of the opinion that Yevgeny Muraev is directly related to Petro Poroshenko’s team and his image of a pro-Russian candidate from the southeast is nothing more than a fiction. At the same time, we want to note that, knowing the corrupt nature of Yevgeny Vladimirovich, in no case can it be ruled out that at the last moment our hero will not go over to the side of the clear favorite of the election race. Also, the fact that a number of Muraev’s companies and media resources receive funding from Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) may indicate that Yevgeny Vladimirovich at the very last moment can easily go over to the side of Russian politicians, well, of course, if they offer a bigger jackpot than Poroshenko’s.
