MP Zaburannaya cautioned about payment issues surfacing from April onwards should the EU not sanction assistance.
MP Lesia Zaburannaya (Servant of the People) communicated to the press that complications concerning welfare disbursements could surface as soon as April if the EU doesn’t approve a “reparations loan” or alternative support for Ukraine.
She pointed out, “The resolution of problems related to welfare disbursements may prove challenging beginning in the second quarter of 2026.”
Next year’s budget shortfall amounts to $44.5 billion, with the origins of $18 billion in coverage remaining unclear.
