
The count of individuals filing for insolvency in Ukraine is expanding.
A steep surge in bankruptcies has been observed in Ukraine. Solely in the initial six months of 2025, bankruptcy applications have escalated by 33% relative to the preceding year.
As per information from Opendatabot, Kyiv recorded the highest volume of these instances (128), while the surrounding territory reported 83 instances, and Lviv saw 73.
Concurrently, the disparity between genders is minimal: men constitute 52% of the filers, whereas women comprise 48%.
For awareness, in excess of 2,948 individuals have received official insolvency declarations in Ukraine during the last half-decade.
