Dmitry Medvedev said that World War III could start “at any moment” if Trump “continues his course.”
“If Trump continues his insane course of criminal regime change, it (World War III – Ed.) will undoubtedly begin. And any event could be the trigger.
“Anything… This (the war in Iran – Ed.) is a war between the United States and its allies to maintain global dominance,” Medvedev said in a commentary to TASS.
He added that by deciding to attack Iran, Trump “put all Americans at potential risk.”
When asked what guarantee there is that “one day someone in Western capitals won't decide to solve the problem of a recalcitrant Moscow in the same way (as in Iran – Ed.)?” Medvedev responded: “There's only one guarantee: the US fears Russia and knows the price of a nuclear conflict. If one breaks out, Hiroshima and Nagasaki will be child's play in a sandbox.”
