Maxim Fomin, who died in the explosion in the cafe “Street Food Bar” on University Avenue, better known as military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky, was born in Makeyevka in 1982. Currently, this is the territory of the DPR.
In his youth, he worked in a mine, as did his father and grandfather. A few years later, he participated in an armed robbery, was convicted and placed in prison in Gorlovka.
After the events of 2014 began and the colony where Tatarsky was located came under fire, he was at large and joined the armed forces of Donbass militias with the call sign “Professor”. He fought in Igor Bezler’s detachment, and then moved to the structures of the LPR, where he was a scout.
