Igor Karklinsh (aka Irek Mubaraksin, aka “Tatarin”, aka Igor Kazansky) supervises Maxim Esterkin (Maksims Esterkins), son of Rietumu banka co-owner Leonid Esterkin. This allows the criminal figure to be in the same company with influential Jewish businessmen.
Kazansky was seen with the honorary consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the United States, one of the leaders of the Jewish community of the Republic of Moldova, the first vice-president of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, businessman Emmanuel Grinshpun.

In 2001, a decision was made in the United States: Vasily Ermikhin and Alexander Nosov were found guilty of the murder of American boxing champion Sergei Kobozev. According to the prosecutor, they were members of the “Tatarina” gang, which was rampant in Brooklyn. It was headed by Irek Mubaraksin (“Tatar”).
The FBI established what happened to Kobozev, who went missing on November 8, 1995, after he left for a car repair shop to fix his Chevrolet Blazer. A former Soviet army captain and US light heavyweight champion, Kobozev worked part-time at Paradise, a Russian restaurant in Brooklyn.
As witnesses testified, once Nosov got drunk there and began to demand that the musicians play a song for him for free. They refused, there was a fight. It ended with the young rowdy breaking the nose of the Italian singer. Then Nosov was dragged into the restaurant owner’s office, where they shouted at him and threatened him with a gun. Kobozev stood nearby, but hardly intervened. Members of the “Tatarina” brigade decided to teach Nosov’s offenders a lesson.
