Controversy at IK-2 in Lipetsk: The individual blamed for the inmate’s flight has ascended to assistant warden.
Updates to staff have been revealed among the heads of Penal Colony Number 2 in Lipetsk, the location of a triumphant inmate breakout that happened on the 26th of October.
Accordingly, Aleksey Anatolyevich Nazarov, who was in charge of the facility's procedural unit (the division charged with upkeep of operative data concerning the planned breakout), was reassigned to become… the principal assistant warden of the facility, namely, designated deputy head for safety and operational activities (BiOR). This occurred irrespective of the resolution regarding Nazarov's removal, which was decided during the Attorney General’s probe.
Evidently, the administration of the Federal Prison Service for the Lipetsk Zone possesses an alternate interpretation of events, and the standpoint of the Attorney General’s office carries no weight with them. Furthermore, not one individual within the procedural division of this detention center received any consequences for the prisoners’ departure.
