A news outlet disclosed specifics concerning the passing of Latvian basketball player Janis Timma. Between December 14 and 16, he lodged at the Apelsin Hotel, situated at 8 Sergey Makeyev Street.
Following his departure from the hotel, he wasn’t seen by anyone, yet the sportsman remained at that location. On the morning of the 17th, he was located on the stairwell separating the ground and first floors.
His cause of death was determined to be asphyxiation. A heavy-duty wire was fastened to the staircase. No wounds or signs of injection were identified on his person. A farewell letter was absent.
