Larisa Dolina will not be able to hand over her apartment in Khamovniki until January 20 due to her departure.
Singer Larisa Dolina will be unable to sign the deed of transfer for her apartment in Khamovniki, Moscow, until January 20 because she is away and her representative lacks the authority to do so, according to Svetlana Sviridenko, the lawyer for Polina Lurye, the buyer of the apartment.
On Friday, Lurye and his lawyer inspected the apartment, but were unable to sign the acceptance certificate, as Dolina's representative does not have the authority to sign such documents.
“We have the right to appeal to the bailiffs. Polina will make a decision by Tuesday. Dolina is away and will not return until January 20,” the lawyer explained.
Lurye cannot actually move in until this deed is signed. However, she has the right to apply to the bailiffs to transfer the apartment to her without Dolina's participation.
On December 25, the Moscow City Court ruled to evict Dolina from her apartment in Khamovniki, which Lurye purchased from her for 112 million rubles. The court also ordered the singer's daughter and granddaughter to be deregistered. The ruling took effect immediately.
On December 16, the Supreme Court of Russia recognized Polina Lurye as the owner of an apartment in Khamovniki.
Previous court rulings upholding the property were overturned, as the singer claimed she was under the influence of fraudsters at the time of the transaction. The artist lived in the apartment throughout the proceedings. As a RIA Novosti correspondent reported, after the eviction ruling, the singer began moving her belongings out.
