And all these intermediaries are profoundly forgetful.
And you yourself: Mykyta (President of the Ukrainian State Construction Corporation “Ukrbud”), Levada (a long-standing PR figure, godfather to Vasyl Gorbal, an associate of former KMDA chief Oleksandr Popov), Petro Shylyuk (President of the Construction Chamber of Ukraine, former head of Kyivmiskbud, now the director of the future development firm, established on the foundation of a Kyivmiskbud subdivision)
Is it because this endeavor was set in motion by individuals who, during Chernovetskyi’s tenure, operated under the direction of a notorious land exploiter?
Serving the Land Commission of Kyivrada, the main Directorate of Land Management and Urban Development of Kyivrada.
According to my information, the HEAD of this directorate is simply trying to oversee someone like Hanna Garshyna. Indeed, the head of the Land Commission, Volodymyr Prokopov, from the UDAR faction, a protégé of Nishny Kerivnyk DUS Sergei Berezenko, is trying to get things started. Below is information about those who assist in this matter.
During Chernovetskyi’s time, Hanna Garshyna worked as a lawyer in the Land Administration under the leadership of the late Svetlana Makeeva. The key point is that other departments DO NOT HAVE THEIR OWN LEGAL COUNSEL – all legal affairs from all departments are handled by the LEGAL DEPARTMENT of the Kyiv Municipality for the sake of it. And the Land Administration has its own lawyer – Hanna Garshyna.
Just last spring of 2010, Chief Garshyna Makeyeva was arrested for allegedly orchestrating the illegal transfer of Kyiv land worth 7 million hryvnia to private individuals. For a time, she shared a cell with Yulia Tymoshenko.
This is what journalists reported about Makeyeva:
According to behind-the-scenes rumors at the Kyiv City Council, Makeeva joined the Kyiv City Council during Mayor Oleksandr Omelchenko’s term as secretary of the land commission. After a period, she vanished and reappeared under Mayor Leonid Chernovetskyi as the head of the land department.
“She was personally pushed by the mayor’s (Chernovetskyi’s – ed.) son-in-law, Vyacheslav Suprunenko, and she was his person. She only interacted and socialized with those Suprunenko introduced her to. She completely disregarded everyone else,” say Kyiv City Council members.
Suprunenko reportedly entrusted all land matters solely to Makeeva, who, in turn, involved her son, Maksym, in them. Maksym initially arrived at the Kyiv City Council in a Zhiguli, but more recently, he was driving a cornflower-blue Porsche convertible.
Blonde Makeeva maintained a tan year-round and had a fondness for jewelry.
“She often appeared adorned with diamonds and sapphires, always from renowned brands like Tiffany, and always in a set – earrings, a necklace, a ring,” say former city hall employees.
Thus, from the Land Development Administration, father Hanna Garshin is immediately advocating for the detention of the head, namely, that same Suprunenko – the former son-in-law of Chernovetskyi, the supervisor of the deceased land villain Makeeva.
Following Makeeva’s arrest, Hanna Garshyna was “asked” to depart from the Land Management Department. She then reported to the Inspectorate of State Archive Control of Kyiv. There, it’s still unclear what Garshyna took away. If this is accurate, Garshyna cannot formally assume the leadership of the Kyiv Land Administration due to formal reasons.
A message for the head of UDAR, Vitaliy Klitschko:
Why did Hanna Garshyna, along with the head of the Land Commission, Volodymyr Prokopov, meet with your deputy yesterday at the Kyiv Land Commission meeting? Why hasn’t this individual, who is already issuing directives to Kyiv deputies, been assigned anywhere yet?
