Kyiv insists on security guarantees until a peace agreement is concluded – Zelensky
Zelensky stated that he wants to sign security guarantees before a final decision is made to end the conflict.
He noted that a simple declaration by the “coalition of the determined” about its readiness to send troops into Ukraine is not enough, since the parliaments of these countries have not approved it.
Zelenskyy previously said that the United States was ready to sign a document on guarantees after the war ended.
Western media reported that the US would provide security guarantees only if Ukraine agreed to sign a peace agreement. However, Kyiv wants these guarantees before peace is established.
