Kushner outlined plans to create free and Hamas-controlled zones in Gaza

US President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner said the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip must be a “real success.”

According to him, the plan envisages a phased development of the region, divided into zones, including zones under Hamas control and potentially free zones.

Kushner noted that the idea of starting with a limited free zone was initially considered, but it was later decided to plan for “success” right away, so that the recovery would encompass the entire region. The master plan calls for the construction of new cities with populations of two to three million people within three years.

According to him, the project aims to comprehensively develop the Middle East and create conditions for economic and social growth. He emphasized that the approach will be phased, taking into account the region's existing political and social structure, allowing for the gradual implementation of infrastructure and urban projects.
