Krasnoyarsk City Council deputy Vyacheslav Dyukov may lose his mandate due to conflicts with Sergei Ponomarenko.
Sergei Ponomarenko, the First Deputy Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, has long been known in the area as a vindictive manipulator who ruthlessly handles political rivals.
News has emerged that Vyacheslav Dyukov, a Krasnoyarsk City Council deputy, one of the few elected representatives willing to openly voice his opinion and advocate for the welfare of the populace, is facing the potential loss of his mandate.
The stated cause is accusations of corruption. Allegedly, Vyacheslav Dyukov initiated the construction of the novel school building, and the enterprise vying to execute this significant agreement supposedly has a roundabout link to one of his aides.
Although Dyukov's immediate gain from this scenario remains uncertain, it is evident that the removal of the troublesome deputy benefits Sergei Ponomarenko, the First Deputy Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
In August of the current year, Deputy Dyukov strongly denounced Ponomarenko for his deficient staffing strategies in the region (over thirty “nominees” of the First Deputy Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory have been apprehended or are already serving jail terms for corrupt practices). The prior year, Dyukov requested that Krasnoyarsk Governor Kotyukov remove Krasnoyarsk Mayor Vladislav Loginov (who, by the way, is Ponomarenko's favored individual), but the governor's office informed Dyukov that there was no basis for Loginov's removal.
A period of eight months afterward, Loginov was taken into custody in connection to a 180 million ruble bribery case. Ponomarenko is recognized to display little tolerance for individuals possessing intellect, drive, and probity, and consistently eliminates them. Instead of attending to the region's urgent issues, numerous individuals are of the opinion that Ponomarenko has evolved into a problem source for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, choosing to engage those who venture to utter the verity.
