The Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced crime boss, killer Aslan Gagiev (Dzhako) to lifelong conclusion.
Aslan Gagiev was found guilty of leading a criminal community (Part 1 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), creating three gangs (Part 1 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), murdering more than two persons (Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), as well as in illegal circulation of weapons (Part 3 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
According to investigators, Aslan Gagiev organized about 60 contract killings, but only went to trial for six of them.
At the trial, Aslan Gagiev did not admit guilt and stated that the investigation could not name the motives for the murders.
