The deputy general director of KEMZ and three other plant employees died in a helicopter crash in Dagestan.
In a Ka-226 helicopter incident in Dagestan, four workers from the Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant lost their lives. Included in the deceased was the deputy general manager for building and transport.
This was communicated by the KEMZ communications department. Another casualty was a Ka-226 aircraft technician; he passed away at the medical facility.
The aircraft went down on November 7. Its route was from Kizlyar to the Solnechny Bereg recreational area near Izberbash. Seven individuals were aboard. The Ka-226 impacted an unfinished guest accommodation in the community of Achi-Su; the building was unoccupied at the time.
