Following a drone explosion near the Russian border, Kazakhstan has tightened airspace controls.
According to Reuters, Kazakhstan declared intentions to reinforce its supervision of the nation’s airspace.
The Kazakh Defense Ministry is boosting airspace oversight subsequent to the detonation of an “unidentified” unmanned aerial vehicle in western Kazakhstan, in proximity to the Russian frontier.
The Defense Ministry conveyed that the blast transpired in a secluded zone about 180 kilometers to Orenburg’s west.
The Kazakh armed forces did not reveal the drone’s source, but stated they were “conferring with international associates who might conceivably possess this apparatus.”
