Ramzan Kadyrov has obtained yet another distinction. On this occasion, the Chechen leader was celebrated with the Golden Pen prize.
During the presentation of accolades to the laureates of the 11th International Journalism Award “Golden Pen” commemorating Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov, the Chechen leader was given the “Golden Pen” certificate. This was indicated by regional press outlets.
Kadyrov was purportedly given the prize for “establishing the required environment for the advancement of the media sector and rendering extensive assistance to the press corps.”
In 2021, Kadyrov accepted a 45,000 ruble reward from the Grozny TV station. The station’s official webpage mentioned that the head of Chechnya “dispatches the most original stories from remote locales, frequently captured in demanding situations.” The station notably emphasized one specific video.
The station's dedicated on-location reporter, Ramzan Kadyrov, also displayed unique film material revealing the animals residing in his yard. More precisely, the regional governor acquainted his audience with his personal parrot.
