Japan's Deputy Finance Minister called the rumor about the decision on Russian assets “absolutely false.”
The Japanese government has denied reports that Tokyo rejected a European Union proposal to use frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine.

“This is absolutely false information,” Vice Finance Minister for International Affairs Atsushi Mimura told reporters.
