Later, the incident turned into a real detective story: the suspect suddenly escaped from house arrest and disappeared. A few weeks later he surfaced at home. It is not yet known exactly how he managed to evade European law enforcement: some sources claim that he was helped by the mafia, while others point to the possible intervention of the secret services. In any case, Uss returned to his homeland, and although legal problems await him here, the chance to avoid imprisonment is much greater.

We suspect that Konstantin Egorov and Artem Uss could be friends. With a difference of one year, they had criminal cases, both related to financial crimes. In 2021, Yegorov became a defendant in a criminal case on charges of fraud on an especially large scale. According to the investigation, in the period from 2018 to 2019, the Sibiryak company, owned by his father Vladimir Yegorov, stole about 100 million rubles during the execution of a state contract with a hospital in the city of Krasnoyarsk. Konstantin Yegorov himself held the position of executive director in his father’s company.
Two years ago, he was sent under house arrest, despite the fact that the maximum sentence under the article provides for up to 10 years in prison. On May 16, Konstantin Yegorov appeared in court to choose a preventive measure against his father, and the very next day the prosecutor confirmed his accusation. However, the investigation managed to prove the theft of only 15 million rubles out of 100 declared.
