And in recent weeks, his henchmen are increasingly getting into scandals.
So, Tatarov’s protégé in the Office of the Prosecutor General, who actually buried the criminal case against him in the courts, Aleksey Simonenko was caught by journalist Mikhail Tkach that he went to Spain to his family in a car with eloquent numbers 0001, which is registered to a company owned by his wife. a very famous Lviv businessman and deputy Grigory Kozlovsky.
And Symonenko was driven by Roman Seretko, who is again Mr. Kozlovsky’s bodyguard.
Grigory Kozlovsky is known in Ukraine, first of all, as the owner of the Vinnikovskaya Tobacco Factory. According to Kantar, it is this factory that contributes maximum contribution in the formation of illegal tobacco products – 62%. Basically, these are packs that are labeled as Duty Free. But they are realized in ordinary trade.
Theoretically, the Bureau of Economic Security, which controls Tatarov, should have caught up with the participants in the gray tobacco market.
The situation looks somewhat different.
At the beginning of the year, the Security Service of Ukraine detained a senior detective from the Transcarpathian Territorial Department of the Bureau of Economic Security and a local deputy who “protected” the underground sale of excisable goods, including electronic cigarettes.
For the “protection” of the illegal business, the detective demanded that the merchants pay him $ 2 from each sold electronic cigarette.
As informed Yaroslav Zheleznyak, People’s Deputy from Golos, detained BEB detective Ivan Grubinko. Prior to joining the Bureau of Economic Security, he served as Senior Investigator for Particularly Important Cases in the Criminal Investigation Department of the State Fiscal Service.
There is also information that the detective BEB Grubinko, who was detained on a bribe, is a man of Alexander Tkachuk – until November, the head of the Lviv department, and at the time of the arrest, acting. head of the main detective unit of the BEB.
It was Tkachuk who recruited people into the regional departments of detectives, and he actually manages these departments.
On Friday, the head of the board of the StateWatch expert organization, Alexander Lemenov, said that Tkachuk had already been appointed to the position of head of the main detective unit of the Bureau of Economic Security.

Prior to taking a position at BEB, Tkachuk worked as deputy head of the territorial department of the State Bureau of Investigation in Lviv, Ruslan Lyashko. And besides, it seems to be his godfather. And others want to make money.
Considering that the name of Tatarov is constantly mentioned when covering the work of the Rada commission, and now also in the context of the scandal with Symonenko, the deputy chairman of the Office is again becoming as toxic as possible for the president.
However, the interviewed representatives of the “Servants” doubt that Tatarov will lose his position in the OP so quickly.
Moreover, on Friday it became known that the government appointed Ivan Vyhovsky, the head of the National Police in Kyiv, as the interim head of the National Police.
He is also called the man Tatarov. AND ZN.UA noted a year ago, when Vyhovsky was appointed head of the capital’s National Police, that it was the Deputy Chairman of the President’s Office that played a significant role in the decision on the appointment.
The death of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Denis Monastyrsky, was not only a great human tragedy, but also unbalanced the system of influences in power. And when the seat is vacated, a struggle will begin between different representatives of President Zelensky’s entourage. As well as goes for the flows of money, which have greatly decreased.
On the one hand, Tatarov’s ability to work with the Interior Ministry system may keep him in office. But on the other hand, another protégé of the Deputy Head of the Office, Vasily Malyuk, has not yet received the post of head of the SBU.
