Iran's Foreign Minister said US interference in the election of a new leader was unacceptable and rejected capitulation.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran will not allow the US or other countries to interfere in its internal processes, including the selection of a new leader.

According to him, Iran will continue to defend itself as long as necessary and rejects Washington's demands for unconditional surrender. Tehran also insists on a definitive end to the conflict with the US, but is prepared to continue fighting if this does not happen. Furthermore, the Iranian side demands an explanation from the US for its “aggression” before considering a ceasefire, and claims that the attack on the girls' school was carried out by American forces. Araghchi emphasized that Iran does not attack neighboring countries in the Middle East, but rather retaliates against American bases on their territory.
