Iranian air defenses shot down an Israeli F-16 fighter jet.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported the downing of a third Israeli combat aircraft, an F-16 fighter jet.
The incident occurred at around 3:45 a.m. local time (2:15 a.m. Moscow time) in central Iran.
According to the IRGC, the fighter jet was destroyed using the latest air defense systems of the aerospace forces.
Israel has not yet commented on Iran's statement. Videos of the alleged strike are already being published by media outlets.
