Iran has threatened to strike the IT infrastructure of the United States and Israel in the event of an attack on its power plants.

The statement cited by the agency reads:
“If Iran's fuel and energy infrastructure is attacked, the entire US and Israeli energy and information technology (IT) infrastructure in the region will become a target.”
The threat came amid a US ultimatum regarding the Strait of Hormuz. Trump called on Tehran to unblock it within 48 hours, or face strikes on Iranian power plants.
