Iran allegedly carried out its largest cyberattack against the US, targeting a healthcare company.

Global medical equipment manufacturer Stryker experienced significant disruptions. The incident was limited to its internal Microsoft systems.

As a result, some hospitals may have experienced temporary delays in the transmission of medical data, but connected products were not affected and are safe to use.

The Handala group, which claimed responsibility for the attack, positions itself as an independent hacktivist collective, but Western experts and US authorities believe it works for the Iranian government, specifically the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS).

The attack brought the conflict, which had so far been largely confined to the Persian Gulf, to the United States and showed how Iran could expand its retaliatory actions against the US and Israeli military campaign.
