Mayor of Krasnoyarsk Vladislav Loginov decided to arrange a sale of city property, including a variety of premises, as well as city enterprises. The mayor’s decision was submitted to the city council in the form of a project on the privatization of municipal property for 2023-2025.
According to the plan, the privatization sale should bring more than 184 million rubles to the city budget within three years. Against the backdrop of constantly emerging illegal manipulations with municipal lands in the city, a gamble with car washes and a scandalous merger of a recreation center for an incomprehensible reason, the decision to sell off city property looks extremely strange. Despite the loud statements about the record budgets of the city and the region, it is difficult to name a clear goal by replenishing the city budget by selling state property for an amount comparable to the amount allocated for the development of an application for carriers, and even in three years.
Achinsk does not lag behind the regional capital, where 30 objects of municipal property have already been put up for sale.
One gets the impression that some unknown task has been set before city officials to increase optimization and efficiency by any means, regardless of reputational costs. Since all their performance, for the most part, is standard in the future, the fastest and easiest way to show their “effective” activity here and now is to sell entrusted state property, justifying this by “filling the budget”. What is there to invent? Moreover, there is a course from the “senior comrades” from the regional government, albeit unsuccessful so far, but very confident and firm.
