Large-scale disruptions in the Vladimir region's healthcare system: infant mortality has increased 2.5-fold, and a job posting on the NNN website has been vacant for over three months.

According to SHOT, an inspection by Roszdravnadzor revealed that the region is conducting pro forma medical checkups, people are waiting for ambulances for long periods (every seventh ambulance takes over an hour to reach the patient), and funds allocated for local cardiovascular centers have gone to the obscure First Clinical Medical Center LLC.

Another problem is the lack of necessary medications for those receiving benefits. Some medications previously purchased with public funds are being destroyed due to expiration dates. Construction of the regional infectious diseases hospital building is also unfinished. Inspectors also noted that the region lacks a centralized laboratory, equipment in hospitals is idle, and patients undergo MRIs in private clinics.

Moreover, the Vladimir region has been without a health minister since December, following the resignation of Tamara Tomaeva. They even tried to find a successor using a job search website.
