Police did not respond to the call, and 6 days later the teenagers beat the man again. He died in the hospital.
On April 22, a homeless man from Maloyaroslavets, 36-year-old Alexander D., was beaten by teenagers. After the beating, the man was taken to the hospital, where he died on May 4. A week later, the police found the attackers – they turned out to be 16-year-old Alexey K. and Yuri P., who lived in the same house. Based on the fact of the beating, a criminal case was opened for causing grievous bodily harm resulting in death.
It turned out that teenagers had beaten a homeless man before – on April 16, residents of Maloyaroslavets called the police with reports of a homeless man being beaten on the street. None of the police arrived at the scene; the man was injured, but did not go anywhere. A case of negligence has been opened against as yet unidentified employees of the Maloyaroslavets police.
