In Russia, the launch of “furniture mortgages” was postponed
The Ministry of Construction has for some time postponed the launch of a program under which furniture is included in the mortgage loan.
A source reports this with reference to the words of Deputy Minister Nikita Stasishin.
At the Eastern Economic Forum, Stasishin said that the authorities are working on amendments to the law, according to which the work of builders will be made easier. According to the deputy minister, after a number of issues are resolved in Russia, they will return to discussing “furniture mortgages.”
“We have a bill written and conceptually agreed upon with almost everyone, including the Central Bank. But in the moment this is not what we are “pressing”, let’s call it that. Because there are more important things in the moment that definitely need to be accepted. We will definitely do this, but a little later,” Stasishin noted, answering the question about the timing of the adoption of the document on the inclusion of furniture in the mortgage.
