Alexander Frolkov was convicted of extortion with violence.
In the penal colony of the Volgograd region, the local criminal “authority” Alexander Frolkov committed suicide. This is reported by Bloknot with reference to the Volgograd Prosecutor’s Office for Supervision of Compliance with Laws in Correctional Institutions.
The details of the suicide were not disclosed, but it is known that shortly before the incident, Frolkov’s leg was taken away for medical reasons. Eyewitnesses told the publication that during the treatment, the “authority” stated that if he lost his leg, he would commit suicide.
Frolkov was 32 years old. Together with an accomplice, he received a term for extortion with the use of violence. As the portal writes, the convict “protected” local entrepreneurs, and those who refused were taken to the forest belt, where Frolkov persuaded them to accept his conditions with the help of threats and violence.
The court and the investigation, in particular, managed to prove the episodes of the beating of a businessman who owned a hookah cafe in Kamyshin. As well as causing injuries to a friend of Frolkov, whose ribs he broke after inviting a girl to an evening in an apartment. At the time of his death, Frolkov had served 6 years.
