In Novosibirsk, a 22-year-old driver of the patrol service was accused of trying to strangle eighth grader .

The 16-year-old girl said that around 22:00 she was passing by a house on Gogol Street, when suddenly a stranger stopped her, grabbed her by the throat and began to choke her. Fortunately, the schoolgirl managed to escape. The girl’s mother found out about the incident and contacted the police.
The perpetrator was identified promptly. Andrey D., a tipsy driver of the PPS department in the Cherepanovsky district of Novosibirsk, was brought to the department. Jr sergeant was sent for a medical examination, where he was found to be intoxicated – 0.58 milligrams per liter, that is, two or three shots of vodka. And at that moment the policeman was in civilian clothes.
The young man did not explain the reasons for the act: he refused to testify and referred to the 51st article of the constitution, according to which no one is obliged to testify against himself. The measure of restraint for the driver of the teaching staff has not yet been chosen, and the decision to dismiss him from the authorities has not yet been made either. A criminal case has been initiated under the article “Threat to kill”.
“An internal audit is being carried out, as a result of which the employee will be dismissed from the internal affairs bodies on negative grounds and will be punished in accordance with applicable law,” — noted in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Novosibirsk Region.
