In Berlin, a protest against police violence escalated into clashes, with eight police officers injured.

Eight police officers were injured and 18 protesters were detained during a demonstration against police violence in Berlin. The incident occurred in the evening in the Friedrichshain district, where approximately 1,000 people had gathered to protest.

The demonstration was accompanied by clashes: participants shouted slogans such as “All cops are bastards,” “Every cop is a target,” and “Fuck the police,” and threw bottles, firecrackers, and flares at law enforcement officers.

Around 500 police officers were deployed to maintain order. Due to aggressive behavior by protesters and the use of prohibited fireworks, the march was halted several times, and after 10:00 PM, police decided to end the demonstration early.

Those detained are charged with violating public order, violating the law on explosives, and using the symbols of extremist and terrorist organizations.
