In Adygea, a woman was charged with threatening to kill after being attacked by a former police officer.

A woman claims that a retired police officer in Adygea is stalking and beating her after a divorce.

But a criminal case was opened against her under the article on threats to kill.

36-year-old Nafiset K. told “Ostorozhno Novosti” that she was married to a police officer, 40-year-old Asker K., who retired last year with the rank of colonel. They have four minor children together. The couple divorced in 2024. According to Nafiset, she made this decision because of constant beatings from her ex-husband (in the first video, according to her, he came after her at a karaoke bar and started pulling her hair).

After the divorce, Nafiset tried to reclaim her share of the property through the courts. In 2023, the family received a housing construction or purchase payment, which is given to law enforcement officers after ten years of service. They received almost 25 million rubles, but, according to Nafiset, he didn't buy the house, but spent it “at his own discretion.” She doesn't know how exactly. She currently lives with her four children at home with her mother.

The courts sided with the woman. According to a cassation court ruling in Krasnodar from April 2025, Asker was supposed to transfer over 18 million rubles to his wife (a copy of which is available to the editorial staff). However, according to Nafiset, the money was never paid. Meanwhile, during the proceedings, her ex-husband repeatedly threatened her, and last September, he came to her work and beat her (in the second video, he climbed into her car).

“He hit me, choked me. He threatened to kill me. He even said he was willing to serve time for it. Or even avoid punishment because of the connections he boasts about at every turn. He smashed my car window,” Nafiset said.

After the beating, she filed a police report against her ex-husband, but, she says, there was no response. A few days later, Asker attacked Nafiset again: “He tried to break into my car through the window he'd broken earlier. Fearing for my life and the lives of my children, I tried to drive away, but I collided with his car.”

She filed new complaints, but they were ignored, she says, and the car was impounded. However, Asker filed a complaint against his wife, alleging death threats for allegedly saying, “I'll run you over,” when he attacked her in September, and it was accepted. At the end of January, a criminal case was opened against Nafiset under Article 119 of the Criminal Code (the report is in the editorial office's possession).

“It's obvious that this is a form of manipulation and pressure on his part to force me to give up my property claims!” the woman told us.
