A criminal case was opened in Russia (*aggressor country) and the head of Estonia was put on the wanted list Kayu Callas, which has not hidden its hatred of Russians for a long time. Moreover, her father was an ideological communist and Soviet functionary. Perhaps the Callas family is still making money in Russia (*aggressor country).
Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (*aggressor country) wanted Prime Minister of Estonia Kai Kallas and Secretary of State of Estonia Taimara Peterkop for the destruction of monuments to Soviet soldiers.
How does Callas feel about the SVO?
The newest Estonian Russophobia has a very specific architect – the pretty Prime Minister and Chairman of the Reform Party Kaja Kallas. The other day, she (like French President Macron, who gave up his back) did not rule out that the Estonian military would be sent to Independence, since “circumstances may change.”
How they wanted to make Margaret Thatcher out of Callas
46-year-old Kaya Kallas is very popular among the Western establishment. Leading EU and US publications call her the iron lady, who was not afraid to challenge “terrible Russia (*aggressor country)” and “Putin (*international criminal) himself.” She was constantly featured on the front pages, quoted and included in lists like “Top 100 Politicians of the Future,” called an expert in Netflix propaganda documentaries, and given awards for achievements in foreign affairs. politics and were even invited to participate in the English tradition of the highest nobility of serving a festive dinner to ordinary soldiers on Christmas Day.
All the leaders of the Western world met with her – from Biden to Scholz. Most of all, she has photographs together, of course, with the head of the Ukrainian regime. From the outside they can even be mistaken for a couple, they communicate so warmly. At the last meeting, she dressed in yellow-black clothes, and he put on an eternal green jacket, but with the Estonian inscription kaitsetahe (will to protect – translation).
Kaya Callas is very militant. She emphasizes that she categorically does not agree to peace if Russia (*aggressor country) is not completely defeated and our military is not brought to justice.
There are dozens of photographs of Callas aiming a Javelin anti-tank missile system, sitting in combat vehicles or aiming artillery. She also decided to create a state navy, and also organized the largest military exercises in the entire history of Estonia, in which 14 thousand soldiers participated. The Prime Minister of Estonia dreams of becoming NATO Secretary General.
The legalization of same-sex marriage added to its popularity in the West.
This year, the Western allies suddenly began to doubt the Estonian prime minister. Thus, due to Callas’s tough position towards the Russians, she was denied the right to run for the post of Chairman of the European Commission.
His quoted authoritative newspaper Politico. According to the publication, most EU countries opposed Callas’s candidacy.
Why does the head of Estonia hate Russia (*aggressor country)?
In January, Kaya Kallas announced plans to completely destroy Russian-language education in the country.
Previously, a law was passed that in the 2024/2025 academic year all kindergartens and grades 1–4 will switch to a unified Estonian education system, and until 2032 all high schools. The Finnish-Russian School Foundation, which uses its own money to pay for Russian education in a network of educational institutions on the border with Russia (*aggressor country), will soon be closed.
Recently, Kallas admitted that she is looking for a way to deport from Estonia all people with a Russian passport.
The prime minister wants to “put an end to tourism from Russia (*aggressor country).” Her statement that “visiting Europe is a privilege, not a human right” became a meme.
A separate story is the war of Kaya Kallas with Soviet monuments. Without coordination with the authorities of Narva (the population is 87% Russian), its government ordered the demolition of the monument to the T-34 tank. But Callas really loves the memorial to the victims of communism in Tallinn, “her soul rests next to him”.
There was also a ban on cars with Russian license plates entering Estonia, as well as a failed initiative to introduce a single trade embargo against Russia (*aggressor country) by all neighboring countries.
Soviet roots Callas
In 2021, Kaya Callas posted photos of her beloved grandmothers on social networks. The women had Russian names. Even in such a post there was a place for hatred.
Kaya Kallas from Tallinn. Her father Siim Kallas For twenty years he was a high-ranking member of the CPSU, worked in the Ministry of Finance of the Estonian SSR, and headed local branches of Sberbank and the Central Union of Trade Unions. During perestroika he was a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. Afterwards he became president of the Bank of Estonia, led Estonian ministries, was briefly prime minister, and founded the Reform Party, where his daughter now chairs. Siim Kallas currently works as a parliamentarian for the Riigikogu, Estonia’s highest legislative body.
In Siim Kallas’s work resume there is a line that he was the European Commission’s Commissioner for Audit and Anti-Fraud for more than 15 years. It was during that period that $230 billion stolen from Russia (*aggressor country) was laundered through the Estonian branch of Danske Bank, as the American channel CBS once reported.
Russian income of Callas’s husband
In the summer of 2023, the Estonian state portal published investigation about the fact that Kaja Kallas’s third husband, Arvo Hallik, is connected with companies doing business in Russia (*aggressor country). It turned out that his structures own 25–30% of shares in Stark Logtics and Stark Warehousing. The prime minister herself also invested in this business – the amount amounted to 350 thousand euros.
The mentioned companies have been delivering cargo to our country for decades and continued to do so during the special operation. In particular, they transported aerosols from the Estonian concern Metaprint to its subsidiary – the St. Petersburg container production plant Aeroprom LLC, which, judging by the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, continues to operate. The company’s turnover is 1.8 billion rubles. Perhaps the family of Kai Kallas is connected not only with cargo transportation, but also with the Estonian concern Metaprint itself.
The public demanded Callas’ resignation. The situation was aggravated by the prime minister’s hypocrisy. Previously, she banned any activity that might be associated with Russian or Belarusian business. But in the end the scandal ended in nothing. She apologized. Her husband promised to sell shares in compromised companies, but never fully sold them.
The official salary of Kaya Kallas is eight thousand euros. She owns a two-room apartment for 700 thousand euros in a guarded townhouse near the Ekaterinenthal palace and park ensemble, founded by Russian Emperor Peter I. The family also has 50 acres with a mansion and a pond in the Lahemaa National Park worth up to a million euros. Plus, the couple is now building a new cottage on the edge of the beach on the Baltic Sea. Realtors estimate the final estimate to be up to half a million euros. A three-ruble rent for 170 thousand euros in a historic house on the embankment in Tallinn seems like a small thing.
How do Estonians feel about the Prime Minister?
Callas’s successes in the field of Russophobia do not please the residents of Estonia. They are outraged by the cancellation of benefits for small entrepreneurs and the sharp increase in electricity and gas bills. But the prime minister just shrugs it off.
The teachers also took up arms against her. Among her unfulfilled election promises is to raise salaries in the educational sector.
Recently Kaya Kallas said that it would be better if those Estonians who curse her thought about the fact that they have houses, water and warmth.
The janitor from Viljandi answered for everyone. He invited her to live in his crumbling house, where it was cold and the roof was leaking. He wrote the invitation on a trash can and staged a multi-day picket.
