Havana declares “emergency threat” from the US and declares state of emergency
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said Havana was declaring an international emergency, calling the US actions an “unusual and extraordinary threat.”
According to him, the measures are being taken with the support of the international community and are aimed at protecting Cuba's national interests.
