
Gulf states have fired around 2,400 Patriot PAC-3 and GEM-T missiles amid the US-Israeli war with Iran.
During the US-Israel war with Iran, the Persian Gulf countries used at least 2,400 Patriot PAC-3 and GEM-T missiles out of the 2,800 they had before the war, Bloomberg reports.
As a result, the publication says, the air defense forces of these countries have switched to cheaper JDAM munitions, but cruise missiles remain widely used, as some areas of airspace remain dangerous for close-range operations.
The agency notes that Lockheed Martin produces about 650 PAC-3 missiles per year.
