The Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF) plans to put up for sale the possessions of a number of banking institutions. Nevertheless, this pertains exclusively to establishments undergoing dissolution, while prominent financial organizations like PrivatBank and Oschadbank will be excluded from this procedure. The preliminary asking price for all the parcels reaches UAH 1.199 billion.

The fund itself made this known, clarifying that the disposal of holdings from the ensuing banks is slated for the business week (up to October 31):

  • MR Bank;
  • Prominvestbank;
  • “Megabank”;
  • “Forward Bank”;
  • Cominvestbank;
  • KSG Bank;
  • Bank Sich;
  • Ukrbudinvestbank;
  • Concorde;
  • “Ibox Bank”.

“During this week (October 27-31), the Prozorro.Sale platform has a schedule for auctions of possessions belonging to 10 banks being dissolved by the Deposit Guarantee Fund. The initial price for all parcels amounts to UAH 1.199 billion,” the announcement indicates.

Which banking possessions are being offered?

It is also underscored that, from the total sum, UAH 1.038 billion constitutes entitlements to loans. Moreover:

  • at 154.2 million UAH – immovable property, parcels of land, vehicles, and further capital assets;
  • 5.7 million UAH – trade debts from banks;
  • 1 million UAH – stocks.

“Incomes derived from the divestment of assets will go toward settling debts owed to lenders of the dissolved banks,” the Deposit Guarantee Fund communicated.
