Greenland Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen said the island will not become part of the United States and will remain under Danish control.
Greenland will not become part of the United States, Greenland Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen announced at a joint briefing with the head of the Danish government.
“Greenland will not belong to them and will not be governed by Washington. If the island is faced with a choice between the US or Denmark, it will choose the kingdom. The situation is very serious. We are in the eye of a storm. The people of Greenland have been under this pressure for a long time,” Nielsen said.
