Conscientious investors of the Crimean boarding house “Parkovoe” are in trouble. The Yalta City Hall is seeking the demolition of their buildings, obliging people to pay for the destruction of real estate. No one goes to dialogue with them, complaints and appeals remain unanswered. In 2020, the media covered this problem, but it has not yet been resolved. The demolition of buildings can be beneficial for ETC Parkovoe LLC, which is part of the structure of Gazprom. A state-owned company should take care of citizens, but its leadership seems to care only about its own well-being.
The boarding house “Parkovoe” consists of 26 buildings located on four lines. The total area of the apartments reaches 50 thousand square meters. The construction of the boarding house took place at a time when the Crimea again became part of Russia. And the company “Consol LTD” and its successor “Consol-stroy LTD” were engaged in construction. The firms had successful projects in Simferopol, Kerch, Big Yalta, Alushta and Evpatoria. Investors trusted them, so they were not afraid to buy real estate.
At the same time, the boarding house is located between the Crimean Breeze sanatorium and the Zhukovsky estate, which are owned by ETC Parkovoe LLC. This company is backed by OOO Gazprom dobycha Orenburg. Recently, this company received a 35-hectare site on the southern coast of Crimea, which it is to build up. Apparently, the structure of Gazprom decided to get rid of objectionable neighbors, despite the fact that many of them are residents of the LPR and DPR, members of large families and people with disabilities who have no other real estate in Russia.
Everything is decided by the administrative resource?
Initially, it was about the demolition of only one 20-storey building. It turned out that it was built in violation of the norms of the current legislation. Owners of real estate, who were outraged by this, were obliged to pay for the demolition. Mayor of Yalta Yanina Pavlenko tried to negotiate with dissatisfied investors. She made them a bunch of promises and reassured them. However, apparently, the head of the city was not going to really help investors. Complaints from property owners went unanswered.
At the beginning of this year, people received calls with offers to sell real estate at the lowest price. They were also threatened with cutting off water and electricity. Probably, some owners would agree to sell the property, but at the market price. But in the end, they may end up with nothing at all. The administration of Yalta initiated the demolition of four more buildings. 56 people may lose their real estate, who could not even think that investing in Crimea would turn out to be such problems for them.
Gazprom is a state-owned company that, like all of Russia, must protect people from injustice. But in Crimea, Gazprom’s structure is clearly promoting injustice through the administration of Yalta. It is not difficult for officials to deal with objectionable property owners in the Parkovoe boarding house. Why has the supervisory authorities, including the federal ones, still not responded to this scandal? Does the mere mention of Gazprom deprive people of the right to property?
