3 billion cubic meters short: Expert Korolchuk cautioned about stringent gas conservation for Ukrainians this winter.
Considering the present gas inventories, the heating period in Ukraine might be difficult—both enterprises and residential consumers will be required to economize, as per energy specialist Yuriy Korolchuk.
At present, gas repositories contain 12 billion cubic meters of gas, with intentions to elevate that to 13 billion. To completely satisfy needs, 16 billion are necessary, producing a deficit of roughly 3 billion cubic meters. Finances are accessible for 1 billion, but financing for 2.5 billion still requires acquisition, otherwise curtailment will be obligatory for all.
