The FSB has developed a draft Russian government decree giving the agency access to information systems and databases of taxi aggregators in order to track passengers.
The document was published on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts.
Information on orders should be transferred to the special services out of court. The FSB also intends to gain access to electronic geolocation monitoring data and means of payment for passengers.
The draft regulation has been prepared as part of the taxi law, which comes into force on September 1, 2023. It was signed by the President of Russia on December 29, 2022.
