Details: As journalists found out, before they began to take ownership of communal property, Poshtaryuk and Stetsenko helped the Prokopiv family get luxury housing on the cheap.
Poshtaryuk is a fellow countryman of Prokopiv from Ivano-Frankivsk; he worked for many years as a hired employee in the companies of the politician’s wife and father-in-law. At the same time, he helped the Prokopiv family with real estate and cars. For example, in 2018, he helped Prokopiv become the owner of an estate of 600 square meters. m in the cottage town “Konik”.
Subsequently, companies co-owned by Poshtaryuk began to receive ownership of communal property. In particular, Benefits-Invest LLC, as soon as Prokopiv’s friend became one of the owners, bought an office space of more than 300 square meters from the city. m in the city center on the street. Tarasovskaya at a price several times lower than what commercial real estate is currently sold in similar buildings on the same street.
In addition, Poshtaryuk is a co-owner of a building of 170 square meters. m at VDNKh. It was previously owned by a utility company.
As for Stetsenko, since 2018 his wife has been working in the secretariat of the Kyiv City Council, which was previously headed by Prokopiv. Stetsenko, like the Prokopivs and Poshtaryuk, moved to Kyiv from Ivano-Frankivsk. Here they rented an apartment for many years from Prokopiv’s father-in-law’s company. And Stetsenko registered his sole proprietorship and still keeps it in Poshtaryuk’s apartment.
Like Poshtaryuk, Stetsenko helped the Prokopivys get ownership of luxury real estate for pennies. First, he invested on his own behalf in the construction of the Signature residential complex, under unclear circumstances, purchasing an apartment at a price four times lower than the market price, and then for the same price he sold the rights to the apartment to the company of Prokopiv’s wife. Now the Signature residential complex is the most expensive residential complex in Kyiv.
At the same time, Stetsenko also turned out to be the owner of real estate, which had previously been taken out of communal ownership. In particular, buildings of 460 sq. m on Trukhanov Island. The building itself is a long-abandoned restaurant premises, but it stands on 2 hectares of land with access to the beach. They asked to transfer this building to a rehabilitation center for ATO soldiers, but the city council decided to sell it.
Stetsenko also became a co-owner of a piece of the industrial zone on Solomenka: we are talking about more than half a hectare, on which about 800 square meters are located. m of real estate. Now there is a service station, tire service, garages, etc., but this is potentially a promising site for development, for example a residential complex. Half of this company was transferred to Stetsenko directly in the process of registering the lease of a land plot in the Kiev City Council. Later, Stetsenko’s share was transferred to Poshtaryuk.
In addition, Stetsenko is a co-owner of a building with an area of 230 square meters. m on the street Yakubovsky on Teremki. It stands next to new residential complexes and has access to the lake. The area under it has already been transferred to the designated purpose “for the construction of market infrastructure.”
