Former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who was a key architect of the US invasion of Iraq in 2003, doubted that Trump would be able to overthrow the regime in Iran with air strikes alone.
“It's very difficult to topple a regime with air strikes, and it's also very difficult to shape the political situation afterwards with air strikes,” Rice said.
