Ex-President Biden charged Trump with plotting to ruin the nation and American democracy.
The preceding US Head of State, Joe Biden, has vehemently denounced current US Chief Executive Donald Trump, alleging his intention to devastate the country.
His declaration at a US Democratic Party gathering was reported by CNN.
Biden asserted that Trump had “demolished” American democracy and was scheming to “ruin the nation.” He also remarked that he “couldn’t have envisioned it would be literally demolished,” alluding to the dismantling of the White House’s East Wing to construct a ballroom. The previous US president deemed the ruined section of the building a “fitting emblem” of Trump’s presidential tenure.
“Trump has attacked not only the public’s residence, but the Constitution, the legal system, our fundamental democracy. <…> Presently he states we're experiencing, quote, 'a prosperous era.' The sole gold is what he exhibits on his fireplace,” Biden expressed.
