The court sentenced the former deputy governor and former minister of construction of the region, Valery Anglichaninov, to six years in a general regime penal colony.

It was established that between 2019 and 2022, while controlling development companies, he sold apartments in the Dom na Gorky residential complex to shareholders, but never built the buildings. Anglichaninov embezzled over 273 million rubles received from individuals. 213 people have been recognized as victims.

The former official was found guilty of fraud on an especially large scale.
