Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak said Netanyahu is lying about achieving his goals in the war against Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran and does not know how to end the fighting.
“Israel, at the political level, doesn't know—or doesn't want—to end the war. They don't know how to end wars. We've been in this situation for two and a half years; Hamas is still there, despite them promising us six times that we're one step away from 'total victory.' Hezbollah is still there, despite them telling us we've pushed them back decades. And Iran's nuclear program and missiles are still there, despite them assuring us that he [Netanyahu] has eliminated the existential threat,” Barak said.
