Five dozen companies from the empire of the late founder of PMC Wagner earned 165 billion rubles in 2022, including 45 billion for social nutrition

Sportswomen, a kindergarten teacher and a former policeman covering the business rear of the family of the late mercenary leader Evgenia Prigozhina. Well-fed auditors and lawyers, billions of rubles in the accounts of the young offspring of Chef Putin (*international criminal), as well as about 50 companies that the media had not previously reported on. “Chronicles” Media” presents a large-scale study of the business of the failed soldier emperor.

Part 1, which explains which companies were included in the Chronicle study and why, what auditors and notaries the Prigozhins work with, and how to distinguish their scam companies.

We looked at dozens of other clients of these auditors and found many of the same JSCs, whose characteristic features are described above. These enterprises also included billion-dollar companies engaged in businesses typical of Prigozhin: food supply and construction. Moreover, some companies have historical ties with legal entities that continue to work on various projects of Prigozhin, for example, in the construction sector.

“Chronicles” Media suggest that one or more companies from the will may hold the necessary papers to buy out all those joint-stock companies to which almost the entire main business of the Hero of Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) was transferred a couple of years ago. The redistribution of this market has already coming and it is logical that the family should try to maintain control over these legal entities.

Based on the data collected, the Chronicle compiled a map that included 168 companies. About 50 of them were not previously associated by the media with Prigozhin.

It is possible to calculate how much these structures earned from government contracts. Yes, contracts with the Ministry of Defense have not been published for several years. However, the total revenue and profit of the studied enterprises are public. For 2022 alone, revenue is almost twice as much as journalists previously calculated.

In total, all these companies earned 165.5 billion rubles, making a profit of 14.3 billion rubles. For comparison, let’s remember Putin (*international criminal)’s wordsthat only one PMC “Wagner”, which does not fall under any Russian law, took 86 billion rubles from taxpayers’ pockets in 2022.

De-Leon LLC (TIN 7709786355). Created in 2008. Officially, only one person is employed by the company. Since 2020, the company belongs to JSC Biennale, created in 2019. De-Leon supplies food to various Moscow institutions. Director of the company and the Biennale Alexey Efremov. Previously, he worked at CJSC Preschool Nutrition Plant, which repeatedly tied up with Prigogine.

Masterfood LLC (TIN 7729669466). Created in 2010. Only one person is officially employed. Since 2020, it has been owned by JSC Medial, created in 2019. Supplies food to social institutions in Moscow. Director of “Masterfood” and “Media” Alexey Kovalchuk previously worked in Prigozhin LLC “Moskovsky Shkolnik” (now LLC “Vesna”), which was sued with a politician Alexei Navalny and the Anti-Corruption Foundation when they accused the Cook of supplying low-quality food.

LLC “Gorsottorg” (TIN 7703682617). Created in 2008. Only two employees are officially employed. Since 2020, the company joins Infood LLC (also uses Prigozhin auditors). Supplies food to Moscow healthcare institutions. The director and owner of the company, Evgenia Vezhlivtseva, plays the same roles in other similar companies: the mentioned Infood and the JSC Dilon found by Chronicles. Previously, Vezhlivtseva worked at Shkolnik – YuZ LLC, which tied up with Prigogine.

LLC “ProdSoyuz” (TIN 7729628928). Created in 2009. Since 2021, 98% of the company is owned by JSC Summit. Engaged in the supply of food products to social institutions in Moscow, until 2012 – also in the Moscow region (under Governor Gromov). There were also contracts for the supply of food for the FSB Directorate in Moscow and the Moscow region.

LLC “Russotskapital” (TIN 7729583071). Created in 2007. Since 2022, 99% of the company belongs to JSC Intersnab. Since 2011, it has been a food supplier to social institutions in Moscow (contracts worth 57 billion rubles).

LLC “Verona” (TIN 7729644246). Created in 2009. Since 2022, it has been owned by Form Capital JSC. Contracts for the supply of school meals to Moscow schools worth 57.1 billion rubles.

Vesna LLC (TIN 7713213445). Created in 1999. The former Moscow Schoolchild LLC, which was suing FBK. Since 2018, it has been owned by Maxlife LLC, which, in turn, has been owned by Neostek JSC since 2021. Contracts for school meals in Moscow for 24.3 billion rubles. The reporting for 2021 indicates that the company registered separate divisions in Moscow, Moscow Zelenograd and St. Petersburg.

CJSC “Preschool Nutrition Plant” (TIN 7726221073). Created in 2002. Judging by the reports, the sole owner of the company is Orion LLC, which, in turn, has been owned by Rigel JSC since 2020. Food contracts for educational institutions in Moscow and Artek for 65.6 billion rubles. In 2016, he was the founder of Shipilovskaya64 LLC. According to reports, at the beginning of 2023 there were 16 divisions in Moscow, 2 in the Moscow region, 5 in Yalta.

LLC “Food Plant” (TIN 7801499923). Created in 2009. Former Concord Food Plant. Since 2019, it has been owned by Development Corporation JSC; previously it was owned by the Prigozhin companies Concord M LLC and Concord Management and Consulting LLC. Engaged in food supplies to Moscow schools. According to reports, it has branches in Moscow and the Leningrad region.

Maxlife LLC (TIN 7720412498). Created in 2018, one employee. Since 2021, it has been owned by Neostek JSC. Since 2018, he has been the owner of Vesna LLC (TIN 7713213445) (school meals).

LLC “Social nutrition “CENTER” (TIN 7708729192). Created in 2010, since 2020 it has been owned by JSC Delaware. Contracts for school meals in Moscow for 10.7 billion rubles. Participant in a high-profile case involving Alexei Navalny, Lyubov Sobol and FBK, when a company associated with Prigozhin, Moscow Schoolboy, sued Navalny, Sobol and FBK, because allegedly because of their investigation and allegedly unreliable information, Moscow Schoolboy lost a subcontract from Social Nutrition CENTER LLC for 88 million rubles. According to reports, the company has 17 separate divisions in Moscow and 1 in the Moscow region.

LLC “AVK” (TIN 7736622807). Created in 2010. Since 2020, it has been owned by Avalor JSC. Contracts for the supply of food to Moscow healthcare institutions for 36.8 billion rubles. According to reports, there are separate divisions in Moscow, the Moscow region and the Samara region.

LLC “Shkolnik-YuZ” (TIN 7728095201). Created in 1992. Since 2015, it has been owned by Trian LLC, but is pledged to Master Stroy LLC. In turn, Trian is owned by JSC Intercrus. Contracts for school meals in Moscow amount to 55.3 billion rubles. According to the reports, there are separate divisions in Moscow and the Moscow region, and also acts as a guarantor for bank guarantees in relation to Megaline LLC, KDP-Catering LLC, Preschool Nutrition Plant CJSC – companies also associated with Prigozhin.

LLC “Venta” (TIN 7729677146). Created in 2011, one employee. Since 2020, it has been owned by JSC Technosintez. Contracts for the supply of food to Moscow healthcare institutions for 1.8 billion rubles.

KDP-Catering LLC (TIN 7725703275). Established in 2010, two employees. Since 2015, it has been owned by Vekon LLC, which, in turn, has been owned by Mikon JSC since 2021. Contracts for food in Moscow healthcare institutions for 1.6 billion rubles.

Among the new enterprises, we note five in the field of military nutrition:

Development LLC (TIN 6226012746). Created in 2015. Since 2020, it has been owned by Intek JSC. Intek has all the same signs of the other joint-stock companies, which several years ago began to re-register the Prigozhins’ business. According to reports, in 2021, Development received 69.9% of its revenue by supplying food to the military. In 2021, it had 20 divisions in the Voronezh, Ryazan, Tver and Tula regions, as well as in St. Petersburg.

LLC “Prok” (TIN 7810817989). Created in 2011. Was a co-owner of Prigozhinsky LLC “SPb Culinary”. According to reports, in 2020 the company had divisions in the Novosibirsk region, Primorsky Krai and St. Petersburg.

Prom LLC (TIN 7801577410). Created in 2012. Produces bread and canned meat. It has ten divisions in the Kaliningrad, Murmansk, Sverdlovsk regions, Primorsky and Kamchatka territories, and St. Petersburg. One of the former directors of the company, Denis Likuchev, works as director of Prigozhinsky RestaurantService Plus LLCand the current director of Prom, Evgeniy Bezus, previously worked at Prok LLC, which is mentioned above.

Veles Plus LLC (TIN 7806074427). Created in 2015. Sells food. The company owns a former food processing plant in the closed town of Mirny, Arkhangelsk Region, where the Plesetsk cosmodrome is located. Founder: Liliya Ravilova. In 2014-2016, she headed LLC “Restaurant KSK “Novy Vek”” At that time, its only founder was Prigozhin. Veles Plus also used the services of Prigozhin auditors ProfAuditAlliance, Audit Dialog and AML Audit.

Let’s say separately about Progress LLC (TIN 7814614517). It was created in 2014 in St. Petersburg. According to reports, the company has a warehouse in the Rostov region. In 2021, the company also had a warehouse in the Krasnodar region. The Ministry of Defense is not aware of the courts of this legal entity, but it has similar revenue and profit figures as other companies in the field of supplying food to the military, so the Chronicle included it in this list.

LLC “Radius” (TIN 7816341664). Created in 2016. Food supplier for the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Defense. In 2022-2023, the Ministry of Defense sued JSC Voentorg over food supplies. The co-executor of the contract was Radius LLC, which, as follows from the court decision, replaced part of the supplied food without approval: lard with bread made from a mixture of peeled rye and 1st grade wheat flour; canned cucumbers for cereals; canned tomatoes for cereal.

LLC “ASP” (TIN 7743869795). Created in 2012. Since 2020, 96% of the company belongs to JSC Investments in the Region. Since 2014, it has entered into contracts with institutions of the Ministry of Defense for organizing events and catering, and in 2023 it continues to sue JSC Voentorg. Was a participant carteldisclosed by FBK.

Perspektiva LLC (TIN 5321172547). Created in 2014. Since 2020, 93% of the company belongs to JSC Force Group. There was only one public contract with JSC Voentorg for the supply of food in 2018, but, judging by court cases, contracts with Voentorg are still being concluded.

Parus LLC (TIN 7804570839). Created in 2016. Since 2020, 96% of the company belongs to JSC Gallon. In 2018-2019, there were 4 contracts worth 9.7 million rubles with Voentorg JSC and an educational institution in the Altai Republic. But judging by court cases, contracts with Voentorg are still being concluded.

OOO “Obshchepit” (TIN 7801589077). Created in 2012. Since 2020, it has been owned by Demetra Trade JSC. There were public contracts with Voentorg for food for the military for 238.7 million rubles, but in 2023 there are courts with Voentorg, i.e. the company continues to work in this area. According to reports, it has separate branches in Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia, Chechnya and St. Petersburg, and since 2019 also branches in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.

Niko LLC (TIN 7801296056). Created in 2015. There are no public government contracts, but there are courts with Voentorg JSC, which indicates that the company is working in this area.

LLC “Collective-Service” (TIN 7801509459). Created in 2009. In 2021, the Main Military Investigation Department wrote about the company as a participant in a fraudulent scheme in the supply of food to military personnel. In 2016-2018, the owner of the company was Valery Chekalov, who died along with Prigozhin and, as they wrote, was responsible for his logistics.

Almira LLC (TIN 7701978520). Created in 2012. Since 2020, it has been owned by JSC Technomax Company. Public government contracts – for 3.3 billion rubles with institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, in 2023 it is suing Voentorg JSC, i.e. continues to work in this area.

LLC “Potential” (TIN 7804536186). Created in 2014. There were public contracts with Voentorg for catering for 10.8 million rubles, now there are courts with Voentorg, which confirms the company’s work in this area. There is a branch in Armenia.

LLC “Pishchevik” (TIN 7743795840). Created in 2010, since 2020 it has been owned by Piper Group JSC. There were public contracts for military food for 144.9 million rubles, but in 2023 it continues to sue Voentorg, i.e. works in this area. According to reports, it has 45 separate divisions in Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Smolensk, Belgorod, Ulyanovsk regions and St. Petersburg.

RestaurantService Plus LLC (TIN 7802210076). Created in 2003, since 2020 it has been owned by PSK Center JSC. There were public contracts for military food for 2.6 billion rubles, but in 2023 it continues to sue Voentorg, i.e. continues to work in this area. According to reports, at the end of 2022 the company had 50 separate divisions in the Krasnodar region, as well as a branch in the unrecognized Transnistria. The media wrote that company employees were involved in fraud with dry rations supplied to military personnel in the partially recognized South Ossetia.

LLC “Main Line” (TIN 7728751238). Created in 2010, since 2019 it has been owned by Technoserv Standard JSC. There were public contracts for food for the military and institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for 2.2 billion rubles, but this activity continues, as evidenced by the courts with Voentorg.

LLC “Nika-Frut” (TIN 5027223645). Created in 2015. Supplies food products to ASP LLC, which, in turn, supplies food to the military. According to reports, in 2022 there were separate divisions in the Kamchatka Territory, Saratov, Kaliningrad and Moscow regions (warehouses), and in St. Petersburg (accounting).

LLC “Eltechnord” (TIN 7807090661). Created in 2015, since 2020 it has been owned by JSC Thaler. According to reports, it has 107 divisions in the Khabarovsk and Primorsky territories and in the Jewish Autonomous Region to organize meals for military personnel of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

LLC “Technology” (TIN 7840515470). Created in 2014, since 2020 it has been owned by JSC Phasis. Engaged in supplying food to the military. In 2022, it had 143 separate divisions in Crimea, Sevastopol, Rostov and Voronezh regions, Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, as well as branches in partially recognized South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

KompleksServis LLC (TIN 7709916290). Created in 2012, since 2020 it has been owned by Ufers JSC. There were public contracts for food for the military, but now the lawsuits with Voentorg are ongoing, i.e. the company continues to work in this area. According to reports, it has 16 separate divisions in the Irkutsk region and St. Petersburg.

MTC LLC (TIN 7734644280). Created in 2010, since 2020 it has been owned by Censor JSC. There were public contracts for food for the military, but now the lawsuits with Voentorg are ongoing, i.e. the company operates in this area. According to reports, it has dozens of branches in the Vladimir and Nizhny Novgorod regions.

LLC “Alternativa” (TIN 5024185906). Created in 2018, since May 2023 it has been owned by JSC A2. There were no public contracts, but now the trials with Voentorg are ongoing, i.e. the company operates in this area. There are divisions in the Amur Region, Kamchatka Territory, and St. Petersburg.

LLC “SPb Culinary” (TIN 7814502274). Liquidated in April 2023. Since 2020, the company was owned by Smart JSC, but a week before the liquidation, Smart’s share was transferred to the director of Prok LLC, Nailya Kalimulina. There were public contracts with Voentorg for food for the military, until the end of 2022 there were courts with Voentorg, i.e. the company continued to operate in this area. Company employees participated in food supply fraud.

In the field of construction for the military, Chronicles found two new companies:

LLC “Lunetta” (TIN 7811598426). Created in 2014. In 2018, JSC Main Directorate for Troop Arrangement (GUOV) involved Lunetta in the execution of a government contract with the Ministry of Defense. The discussion was about supplying the military in the Kaliningrad region with an autonomous field camp/camp with a closed life support cycle. In 2022, the Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Baltic Fleet was going to recover 300.8 million rubles from the GUOV through the court. The agency alleged that Lunetta supplied equipment with false certificates. This company not only used the services of the Prigozhin auditor Accent Audit, but it was also served by the Prigozhin notaries Akulenko and Lakman.

LLC “Modus Stroy” (TIN 7842532979). Created in 2014. One person is officially employed. Participated in the construction of a military camp in the Belgorod region, in the village of Soloti. Conducted tenders for this. The company not only used the services of the Prigozhin auditor Accent Audit, but it was also served by the Prigozhin notaries Akulenko and Lakman.

The Chronicle found one new company in the field of maintaining military facilities:

Tekhpromkomplekt LLC (TIN 7801287870). Created in 2015. According to reports, at least in 2019 the company operated a branch in Abkhazia. July 20, 2023 in one of the newspapers of partially recognized South Ossetia published an advertisement that the company has announced liquidation. According to leaks from the Federal Tax Service, the sole owner and director of the company, Andrei Knyazev, was previously associated with the Main Line company, which is associated with Prigozhin.

“Chronicles” also discovered legal entities about which Mikhail Khodorkovsky’s “Dossier” project has already been written about: ARS-Service LLC and MTO-Expert LLC.

It is worth noting that ARS-Service, like Tekhpromkomplekt, also announced its upcoming liquidation through a South Ossetian publication. It is noteworthy that this happened a month after Prigozhin’s rebellion.

ARS-Service LLC (TIN 7842031468). Created in 2015. Public contracts with Ministry of Defense institutions for the maintenance of Ministry of Defense facilities amounted to 5.5 billion rubles, but there were lawsuits against the Ministry of Defense last year, i.e. the company continues to work in this area.

MTO-Expert LLC (TIN 7840081336). Established in 2018, one employee. In 2020 served Military Academy of Logistics and Technical Support named after Army General A.V. Khrulev” of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (*country sponsor of terrorism) in the Saratov region. According to the reports, there was no income from sales in 2021-2022, in 2020 – 261.5 million rubles. Under a contract with the Academy. Khrulev in 2020, separate divisions were created in Chelyabinsk, Penza, Volsk (Saratov region) and Omsk-98. There was also a contract with the Ministry of Defense for the maintenance of military camps in Armenia in 2019-2020.

LLC “Arealstroy” (TIN 7813210543). Created in 2014. Only one person is officially employed. The company not only used the services of the Prigozhin auditor Accent-Audit, but it was also served by the notary Lakman, associated with Prigozhin’s structures.

LLC “RedutProject” (TIN 7805669125). Created in 2016. Carried out architectural supervision of the reconstruction of the public utilities sector in Crimea, which was carried out by the company Megaline, associated with Prigozhin, cooked design documentation for the restoration and adaptation of the Prince of Oldenburg’s Dacha in St. Petersburg into a hotel. The building belongs to Prigozhin’s daughter Polina. According to reports, the company also entered into contracts and design agreements in two buildings on the Lieutenant Schmidt embankment in St. Petersburg, including the Trezzini House (journalists called it Prigozhin’s headquarters), the building of the “Children’s Medical Center” of the Administrative Department of the President of the Russian Federation (*country sponsor of terrorism) in Moscow, and also “RedutProject” acted as a partner of Prigozhin’s Megaline LLC within the framework of a defense contract. In addition, as follows from the reports, in 2018 the general director and owner of RedutProekt lent money to his own company, which is typical for Prigozhin’s enterprises.

Westernlink LLC (TIN 7804584542). Created in 2016. According to the reports, in 2022 it had three divisions in Moscow, as well as subcontract agreements for the reconstruction of the Children’s Medical Center building by the Administrative Department of the President of the Russian Federation (*country sponsor of terrorism) (design supervision was carried out by the above-mentioned RedutProject), the building of the Government of the Russian Federation (*country sponsor of terrorism), the Moscow Kremlin museums (the last two contracts were carried out by together with Prigozhin’s “Megaline”). Also, according to the reports, in 2022, the general director and owner of Westernlink gave his own company an interest-free loan, which is typical for legal entities affiliated with Prigozhin. The company also used the services of Prigozhin auditors ProfAllianceAudit and AML Audit, as well as notaries Akulenko and Lakman associated with Prigozhin structures.

Kosour LLC (TIN 7801648847). Created in 2018. According to reports, in 2021 it had a division in St. Petersburg and was building a complex of buildings for the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation (*country sponsor of terrorism). It rents construction equipment from Prigozhin’s SK Segmenta LLC and has a construction contract with the same SK Segmenta. The company not only works with Prigozhin’s enterprises, but also used the services of his auditors ProfAllianceAudit and AML Audit, as well as notaries Akulenko and Lakman associated with Prigozhin’s structures.

LLC “Krona” (TIN 7839082960). Created in 2017. There are only two employees on staff. According to reports, in 2022 the company operated two separate divisions in Moscow at the addresses of the Government of the Russian Federation (*country sponsor of terrorism) and the historical complex of buildings of the Middle Trading Rows. Apparently, Krona carried out subcontracts on the projects of Prigozhin’s Megaline. The company also used the services of a chef’s auditor, ProfAllianceAudit, as well as a notary Akulenko associated with Prigozhin’s structures.

LLC “Gurt” (TIN 9715392730). Created in 2020. Supplies building materials. According to reports, there are separate divisions in Moscow at the addresses of the historical complex of buildings of the Middle Trading Rows and the Government of the Russian Federation (*country sponsor of terrorism), as well as in St. Petersburg (complex of buildings of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation (*country sponsor of terrorism)). Prigozhin’s other companies also operate at these addresses. In addition, the company used the services of the Prigozhin auditor, AML Audit, as well as the notary Lakman, associated with the cook’s structures.

LLC “MBK” (TIN 7842183943). Created in 2020. According to the reports, the company’s counterparty is Lakhta Park LLC, owned by Prigozhin’s son Pavel. Also on the list of counterparties are two companies associated with Povar that were discovered by Chronicles – Lunetta LLC and Tekoma LLC. MBK not only works with enterprises associated with Prigozhin, but also used the services of a Prigozhin auditor, Accent Audit, as well as a notary associated with Prigozhin’s structures, Anatoly Akulenko.

LLC “Korela” (TIN 7813604869). Liquidated in June 2023. According to reports, in 2019, the owner and general director of the company lent her money, which is typical for legal entities associated with the Prigozhins. The main counterparty of the company, according to reports, was Prigozhin’s Megaylan. “Korela” also used the services of the Prigozhin auditor “Accent Audit”, as well as the notary Lakman, associated with the chef’s structures.

Tekoma LLC (TIN 7811018971). Created in 2014. The company produces modular block containers for construction sites. The company used the services of the Prigozhin auditor AML Audit, as well as the notary Lakman, associated with Prigozhin structures.

Also among the clients of Prigozhin’s auditors, Chronicles found companies about which the media had already written: Megaline LLC, Lizena LLC, SK Segmenta LLC, etc.

Megaline LLC (TIN 7802742962). Created in 2011. The owner of the company is Lakhta LLC, whose owners previously included Prigozhin himself and his ex-wife Lyubov. This is the main construction company in Prigozhin’s empire. Since 2014, the company has had many construction contracts with government agencies worth 9.7 billion rubles. The company owns 99.9% of Kudrovo-Line LLC and 99.9% of St. Petersburg Training Center Sfera LLC.

LLC “Lizena” (TIN 7811598779). Created in 2014, one employee. Judging by the reports for 2020, it had divisions on the street. Dobrolyubov in St. Petersburg (Judicial Quarter) and in the city of Millerovo, Rostov region, where a military camp was being built, the company recruited employees there.

SK Segmenta LLC (TIN 7801643052). Created in 2014. In the media mentioned as a contractor for the construction of the Judicial Quarter in St. Petersburg; the reporting of Kosour LLC mentions that in 2018, SK Segmenta LLC entered into an agreement with the Federal State Unitary Enterprise RSU Administrative Department of the President of the Russian Federation (*country sponsor of terrorism) for contract work on the construction of a quarter for the Supreme Court and the B. Eifman Dance Palace.
