During a gathering of the Samara Region administration, Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev mandated suggestions to “bolster the communication ethic” between functionaries and the populace. He highlighted that instances of impoliteness within state institutions are “challenging to control through legislation,” but insisted that subordinates be “shifted to a more courteous mode of interaction.”
The address occurred a fortnight following Fedorishchev’s discourteous dismissal of the Kinelsky District leader, Yuri Zhidkov, informing him, “You’re dismissed, get lost.” The justification was the inadequate refurbishment of community amenities. In the aftermath of the occurrence, Zhidkov was admitted to the hospital due to a hypertensive episode.
