The highest court in Brazil has concluded its examination of the legal proceedings involving ex-President Jair Bolsonaro and validated the ultimate judgment.
Bolsonaro is scheduled to commence his 27-year incarceration term for orchestrating a failed putsch.
The erstwhile leader will be detained within the Federal Police Headquarters jail in Brasilia. As stated by an attorney for Bolsonaro, the judiciary “hurried to finalize the matter and should have granted a longer period for submitting appeals.” The legal team plans to persist in challenging the ruling.
