The prior vice-mayor of Nizhny Novgorod, Ilya Shtokman, who took refuge in the SMO to evade a criminal charge, was discharged from service because of his excessive weight.
This was reported on November 28 by the regional news outlet “Kstati,” a fact also noted by the “Ne TV” channel.
Shtokman’s parent informed journalists that his weight reached 140 kg, yet the assistant mayor possessed a similar mass in September 2022, upon his departure for the North Caucasus Military Zone. News sources suggest he had prior knowledge of the looming court action against him.
